Your unforgettable journey begins with a warm welcome and pick-up from the airport or your accommodation in Kigali. Early in the morning, you will depart for Volcanoes National Park, home to Rwanda's iconic mountain gorillas and one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations.
Upon arrival, you will attend a mandatory pre-trek briefing at the park headquarters (7:00 AM), where experienced park rangers will provide important information about gorilla trekking procedures and conservation efforts. Following the briefing, you will venture into the lush rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.
Accompanied by expert trackers and guides, you will trek through the forest until you encounter these magnificent primates in their natural habitat. Once located, you will spend a magical and unforgettable hour observing the gorillas, witnessing their behavior and social interactions at close range.
After the trek, enjoy a well-deserved lunch (12:30 PM – 1:30 PM) before beginning your scenic return journey to Kigali. You will arrive in the late afternoon (approximately 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM), bringing this extraordinary wildlife experience to a memorable close.
